The Bristol Artists Book Event (BABE) took place at the end of June at UWE, Spike Island,Bristol. Spike Island is a great creative hub in the centre of city.
It was a fabulous opportunity to meet other creatives and talk to them about their handmade artist books and inspirations.
The event, run over two days, was open to the public and I had many great conversations with visitors and artists about my books, interests and processes.
This is the fourth BABE I have participated in and I look forward to the event every two years. I would like to thank to organisers, Sarah Bodman and Tom Sowdon and their team of assistants for their efforts in pulling to event together, especially in the extreme heat we experienced this year.
I'm already looking forward to the next event!
